Written for staffing agencies, recruiting firms, RPO providers and in-house talent teams. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax that applies to you. Support, onboarding and migration all run from Delaware, USA on Monday to Friday, 8am - 8pm ET; there is no local office, entity or phone number.

Tax.
Figures exclude sales tax. Whether sales tax applies depends on your state and your exemption status, and the treatment applied appears on the invoice.
Local fields.
EEO data captured behind a firewall so it cannot reach a screening decision, TCPA opt-in capture, and CAN-SPAM suppression on outreach. Each is a product field or workflow with its build status on its own feature page, and none of it is a compliance certification.
Job boards here.
Indeed and ZipRecruiter. Connector state is on each integration page, with the date it goes live.

United States

Recruitment software for a US billing desk

The launch market: the entity is here, support runs on Eastern time, invoices are in dollars, and the screening and outreach rules a US desk answers to are fields rather than policies.

Surhires is recruitment software and an applicant tracking system for US staffing agencies, recruiting firms and in-house talent teams. It covers the resume database, outbound sourcing, client submittals and the placement pipeline through to the first invoice, and it is operated from Delaware by Soor LLC on US hours.

Pricing

Three plans, priced per seat. Published in full, provisional, and said so.

Starter, Professional and Enterprise are $39 / $49 / $99 per seat per month, or $32 / $41 / $82 per seat on annual billing — 17% less. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial that takes no credit card, and there is no free-forever tier behind it.

This is the launch market, which has practical consequences

Surhires is operated by Soor LLC, a Delaware company, and the United States is the commercial launch market rather than an export market. That is worth stating plainly because the two other countries with their own pages here, the United Kingdom and Australia, are supported inbound and say so on their own pages. In the United States the entity, the bank account, the support window and the default assumptions in the product all point the same way.

What that buys you is unremarkable and useful. Support runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Eastern Time, which covers a working day in every contiguous time zone. Invoices are raised in US dollars by a US entity, so there is no conversion charge and no cross-border tax question to resolve before a purchase order can be raised. Onboarding and migration calls land inside your own working day rather than at the edge of somebody else's.

It does not buy you a longer feature list. The product is the same product in every market. What differs is the vocabulary, the compliance fields and the commercial plumbing, and this page is about the US version of those three things.

The vocabulary is the one a US recruiter uses

A candidate sends a resume, not a CV. A role is a req or an opening, and on a contract desk it is an assignment with a bill rate and a pay rate rather than a day rate. A contractor is W-2 or 1099 and the distinction changes the record, not just a label. Notice periods are short or absent, so the pipeline assumes a two-week horizon rather than a three-month one.

Salary fields store the currency a figure was quoted in and the period it was quoted for, so an annual base and an hourly rate are never compared as though they were the same number. Dates render month-day-year. Addresses take a five-digit ZIP and a state from a list rather than a free-text county.

None of this is clever, and it is the difference between a system a recruiter trusts and one they route around with a spreadsheet.

  • Resume, req, submittal, placement, bill rate and pay rate used correctly throughout
  • W-2 and 1099 engagement type recorded on the assignment, with the markup kept separate from the margin
  • Hourly, weekly and annual compensation stored with the period they were quoted for
  • ZIP and state as structured fields, with month-day-year date rendering

Equal-opportunity data is collected, and kept away from the decision

A US desk that reports on applicant flow has a structural problem: the data that has to be collected is exactly the data that must not influence a screening decision. Putting it on the candidate record next to the work history is the obvious design and the wrong one, because every recruiter who opens the record then sees it.

The design here separates the two. Self-identification data is captured through its own flow, stored apart from the candidate record a recruiter works in, and surfaced only as aggregate reporting. The screening surfaces never render it, and the audit log records who ran a report rather than who saw a field.

This is in build, not shipping, and the feature page says so with its evidence line. Nothing on this page should be read as a statement that it works today, and nothing anywhere on this site is a claim to be compliant with any part of federal or state employment law. The product gives the obligation somewhere to live; meeting it remains yours.

Recruiting outreach in the United States runs into two separate rule sets at once. Calls and texts sit under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, where what matters is whether you can show the consent you relied on and when it was captured. Email sits under CAN-SPAM, where what matters is that an unsubscribe is honoured everywhere and quickly.

So consent is a field, not an assumption. Each candidate record carries the channel-level permission you hold, the date it was captured and the surface it was captured through. A suppression list is global rather than per-sequence, so a candidate who opts out of one cadence is out of all of them, and an attempt to message a suppressed record is blocked at send time rather than reported afterwards.

The same caveat applies as everywhere else on this site. These are fields and workflows with build statuses on their own pages. They are not a compliance product and they are not legal advice.

  • Channel-level consent with capture date and capture surface on every candidate record
  • Global suppression list enforced at send time across every sequence and channel
  • Pay-range checks on a posting before it publishes, for the states that require one
  • Audit log recording the actor, the timestamp and the record for every outreach action

Indeed, ZipRecruiter and where the connectors really stand

Indeed and ZipRecruiter are the two boards most US desks care about, and it would be easy to put two logos on this page and move on. The real state is that both connectors are in build rather than live, as their integration pages state with an evidence line each. Posting to LinkedIn and Indeed ships today; multi-board posting, where one req goes to several boards from one form, is in build for the Wave 1 release.

Until those land, the honest workflow is that you post through the board's own interface and bring applicants in through email capture and bulk resume import, both of which are live. Bulk import parses a folder of resumes into structured records, runs duplicate detection during the import rather than afterwards, and keeps the original file alongside the parsed text.

The integration pages are updated when a connector goes live, with the date. Nothing on this site shows a board logo it has not earned.

What it costs, and what is still provisional about that

Three plans, priced per recruiter seat in US dollars: Starter at 39, Professional at 49 and Enterprise at 99 per user per month, with roughly seventeen percent off for annual billing. Starter and Professional carry a three-seat minimum and Enterprise a five-seat minimum. Enterprise also carries a platform fee alongside the seats. The trial runs fourteen days, takes no credit card, and there is no free-forever tier behind it.

The list prices themselves are flagged as provisional. Willingness to pay has not been validated with enough unrelated paying customers to call them locked, so they may move before general availability. Saying that now is cheaper for everyone than a quiet correction later, and it is the same disclosure the pricing page carries.

Sales tax is excluded from every figure. Whether it applies depends on your state and your exemption status, and the treatment applied appears on the invoice rather than being asserted here.

Where the data sits, and what is and is not certified

Primary data residency is AWS us-east-1 in the United States, with encrypted backups. A SOC 2 readiness programme is under way with continuous control monitoring; a Type I report is the first deliverable and no Type II report is claimed until one has been issued. California consumer rights under the CCPA are honoured for all US customers, and a data processing agreement and sub-processor register are published.

Read that list as what it is. A readiness programme is not a certification, a target is not a guarantee, and a published agreement is a document rather than an audit. The trust pages set out each posture with the same wording, and if your security review needs something that is not on that list the answer is better had during the sales conversation than after the first invoice.

Questions recruiters ask

Is Surhires a US company?

Yes. Surhires is operated by Soor LLC, registered in Delaware, with its registered address in Lewes, Delaware. The United States is the commercial launch market, invoices are raised in US dollars by the US entity, and support runs on US Eastern hours. The United Kingdom and Australia are supported inbound from the same entity.

Does the product keep EEO data out of screening decisions?

That is the design, and it is in build rather than shipping. Self-identification data is captured through its own flow, stored apart from the working candidate record, and surfaced only as aggregate reporting. The feature page carries the build status and the implementing files. Nothing here is a claim to be compliant with federal or state employment law.

Can we post to Indeed and ZipRecruiter today?

Not through a connector. Both are in build and their integration pages say so with an evidence line. Posting to LinkedIn and Indeed ships now, and multi-board posting is in build for the Wave 1 release. Until then you post on the board and bring applicants in through email capture and bulk resume import, both live.

Are the list prices final?

No, and the pricing page says so in the same words. Three plans at 39, 49 and 99 US dollars per seat per month are published in full and flagged as provisional, because willingness to pay has not been validated with enough unrelated paying customers to call them locked. They may move before general availability.

Will sales tax be added to our invoice?

The listed figures exclude sales tax. Whether it applies depends on your state and your exemption status, and the treatment applied appears on the invoice. If your finance team needs the position confirmed in writing before a purchase order is raised, ask during the sales conversation rather than after the first invoice arrives.

Are you SOC 2 certified?

No. A SOC 2 readiness programme is under way with continuous control monitoring, and a Type I report is the first deliverable. No Type II report is claimed until one has been issued. The trust pages state that posture in the same words, and nothing on this site describes the product as certified against any framework.

Where is our candidate data stored?

Primary data residency is AWS us-east-1 in the United States, with encrypted backups. CCPA consumer rights are honoured for all US customers, and a data processing agreement and sub-processor register are published. If a specific residency or retention arrangement is a contractual requirement, raise it during the sales conversation.

Do you handle payroll or pay and bill?

No. Surhires is recruitment software, not a payroll bureau, an HRIS or a pay and bill system. It records the assignment, the bill rate, the pay rate, the markup and the fee, and raises the placement invoice. Timesheets, W-2 payments and tax filing run in whatever back-office system you already use.

See it against your own reqs

Bring one live role and three resumes. In twenty minutes you will see the match scores, the shortlist and the placement invoice that comes out the other end.
