The contact details, in full

There is one phone line and two email addresses, and both addresses are read by people who work on the product. Sales enquiries, pricing questions, migration scoping and demo requests go to [email protected]. Anything from an existing account - a bug, a data question, a permissions problem, an import that did not land - goes to [email protected]. The company line is +1-607-318-2126, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 8am - 8pm ET.

Press and analyst enquiries also go to the sales address for now. There is no separate press desk, and inventing one would only add a hop. Postal correspondence goes to Soor LLC, 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, United States.

No response-time SLA is published here

Plenty of contact pages promise a reply within four hours. Most of those numbers are decoration, and a promise nobody measures is worse than no promise at all. Surhires does not publish a response-time commitment on this page.

Contractual service levels are a different matter. Enterprise agreements carry custom SLAs and a named customer success contact, and those are written into the order form where they can be held to. If a service level matters to your procurement process, ask for it during the commercial conversation rather than reading it off a marketing page.

What a demo actually covers

A demo is thirty to forty-five minutes and it is run against your work, not a sanitised sandbox. Bring one live requisition and three resumes for it. That is the whole preparation.

With those, the session walks the loop that decides whether the product is worth switching for: the requisition gets structured into must-haves, nice-to-haves, salary band and interview stages; the three resumes get parsed into normalised records; each candidate gets scored against the requisition with the requirement that drove each point shown; and one of them gets moved through to a submittal so you can see what the client actually receives. Anything on the roadmap is named as roadmap during the call rather than shown as if it ships.

If you would rather not share a live requisition before a mutual NDA, say so and a redacted one works equally well. The point is that the brief is real, because a demo run on a fictional job never surfaces the awkward parts of your workflow.

  • Bring one live requisition, ideally one you are struggling to fill
  • Bring three resumes against it, in whatever format you actually receive them
  • Expect requisition structuring, parsing, match scoring and a submittal
  • Roadmap items are named as roadmap during the call, not demonstrated as shipping

Why the demo form asks qualification questions

The booking form asks a short set of questions and they are not there to route you to a sales sequence. They exist so the person running the call can configure the right vertical template before you join, and so the call can end in a straight answer rather than a follow-up.

You are asked how many recruiters sit on the desk, because the plans have a three-seat minimum and Starter is capped at ten. You are asked what you place - contingent permanent, retained search, contract and temp, RPO delivery or in-house - because the pipeline template and the invoicing model differ across those. You are asked which market you bill in, because compliance fields differ between the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. You are asked what you run today, because a migration off an established system is a scoped project rather than a CSV import. And you are asked whether a security review is required, so the documentation can be ready before you ask for it.

Some questions get a no on the call

If the honest answer is that Surhires is not the right system for you, the call says so. The product is recruitment software, not an HRIS, a payroll system, a background-check provider or an assessment platform, and a desk that mainly needs one of those is better served elsewhere.

The same applies to timing. If the capability you are buying for is in build rather than shipping, the call names the status and you can decide whether to wait, trial the shipping product now, or come back. A signature obtained by blurring that distinction produces a churned account and a bad reference, which costs more than the deal.

How a security or procurement review is handled

Say at booking that a review is required, and the documentation set is prepared before the first call rather than chased afterwards. The security page describes the tenant isolation model, encryption, access control, audit logging, backups and vulnerability handling in engineering terms, and the trust center walks each compliance regime with its posture stated - supported in product, shared responsibility, customer responsibility, in progress, or not applicable.

For a formal file, the data processing agreement and the subprocessor register are published. SOC 2 is described as a readiness programme with a Type I report as the first deliverable, and no Type II report is claimed until one has been issued. An independent third-party penetration test and tenant-boundary review are being commissioned ahead of general availability and the result will be published.

Security questionnaires are answered directly rather than deflected to a portal. Where the answer is that a control is not yet in place, the response says so and gives the timeline, because a questionnaire answered optimistically is a contract dispute waiting to happen.

  • Tenant isolation, encryption and audit logging: see the security page
  • Regime-by-regime posture with responsibility stated: see the trust center
  • Data processing agreement and subprocessor register: published under legal
  • Custom SLAs, SSO, SAML and multi-entity setup: Enterprise commercial scope

Starting a trial instead of booking a call

A trial does not need a conversation. It runs fourteen days, takes no credit card, and gives you the shipping product rather than a limited preview. There is no free-forever tier behind it, so the trial is scoped to be long enough for a desk to import a working list, run a real search and reach a submittal.

If you would rather see the system driven by somebody who knows it before spending your own week on it, book the demo first and start the trial with the configuration already in place. Most desks that switch systems successfully do it in that order.

Questions recruiters ask

How quickly will somebody reply?

No response-time SLA is published on this page, and a number invented for a marketing page would not be worth much. Support is staffed Monday to Friday, 8am - 8pm ET, and messages arriving outside those hours are picked up at the start of the next window. Contractual service levels are available on Enterprise agreements.

What should I bring to a demo?

One live requisition and three resumes against it. The session structures the requisition, parses the resumes, scores each candidate against the brief and takes one through to a submittal. A redacted requisition is fine if you would rather not share a live client name before an NDA is in place.

Why does the form ask how many recruiters we have?

Because the plans carry a three-seat minimum and the Starter plan is capped at ten seats and five hundred candidates. Knowing the desk size before the call means you get a straight answer about which plan fits rather than a pitch for the one that does not. It also determines whether a platform fee applies.

Do you have a press or media contact?

Press and analyst enquiries go to the sales address for now. There is no separate press desk and no media kit published, because neither exists yet. Inventing a press inbox that forwards to the same place would add a hop without adding a person, so the page says plainly where to write.

Can you complete our security questionnaire?

Yes. Flag the review when you book and the documentation is prepared in advance. Questionnaires are answered directly, including where a control is not yet in place, in which case the answer says so and gives a timeline. SOC 2 is described as a readiness programme with a Type I report as the first deliverable.

Will you tell me if Surhires is the wrong fit?

Yes, and it happens on calls. Surhires is recruitment software, not an HRIS, a payroll system, a background-check provider or an assessment platform. If the capability you are buying for is in build rather than shipping, the call names the status so you can decide whether to wait or evaluate what ships today.

Can we start a trial without talking to anyone?

Yes. The trial runs fourteen days, takes no credit card and gives you the shipping product. Most desks that switch successfully book a short demo first so the vertical template and pipeline stages are configured before the trial clock starts, but nothing prevents you from signing up and importing a list straight away.

See it against your own reqs

Bring one live role and three resumes. In twenty minutes you will see the match scores, the shortlist and the placement invoice that comes out the other end.
