Comparison
Published pricing against an evaluation that starts with a call
JobAdder has a strong Australian base and a Seek integration that matters locally. The difference for a buyer is what you can find out before you talk to anyone.
JobAdder does not publish its pricing, so an evaluation begins with a sales conversation rather than a comparison. Surhires publishes $39, $49 and $99 per user per month, provisional pending buyer validation, with a three-seat minimum and a fourteen-day trial that needs no credit card and no call.

Unpublished pricing shifts the work onto the buyer
JobAdder's pricing is not published, and we are not going to estimate it. Any figure we invented would be wrong often enough to be worse than saying nothing, and a comparison page that guesses at a competitor's price has already told you how much to trust the rest of it.
The practical effect is procedural rather than moral. Plenty of good vendors quote rather than publish, usually because packaging genuinely varies by size and region. But it means a shortlist cannot be built from public information: you qualify into a pipeline, take a call and receive a proposal, and only then can you compare.
Surhires publishes $39 Starter, $49 Professional and $99 Enterprise per user per month, annual at $32, $41 and $82, with a three-seat minimum, a $2,000 per month platform fee on Enterprise and a fourteen-day trial with no credit card. Those figures are provisional pending buyer validation, and the label stays on the page until they are locked.
- JobAdder: pricing not published; expect a scoping call before a number
- Surhires: three published tiers with plan contents listed
- AUD figures on this site are conversions and flagged as unconfirmed
- Fourteen-day trial with no credit card and no sales call required
The Australian market has its own requirements
Seek is where Australian recruitment happens, and a product without a working Seek relationship is not a serious contender for an Australian desk. JobAdder's Seek integration and its established local base are real advantages that a newer vendor does not match by writing about it.
Surhires includes a Seek connector in the Professional plan alongside Naukri and CV-Library, plus multi-board job posting that is shipping and being extended. The Australian market configuration also carries labour-hire licensing fields by state and Working Rights checks against visa class, because those are the requirements that actually differ locally.
Working Rights handling is described as capability rather than compliance: document capture with expiry reminders against the candidate record. The verification itself is a workflow you run, not a certification we hold on your behalf.
What Surhires publishes so you can evaluate without a call
Every feature page on this site carries a status: shipping today, shipping and being extended, in build, or planned. That is unusual and it is deliberate, because the most expensive discovery in software buying is finding in week three that a demo showed a roadmap.
Live today: candidate management, applicant tracking, pipeline management, AI candidate matching, resume parsing, bulk resume import, AutoShortlist, ten of the twelve named agents, AI interview calls, WhatsApp messaging, interview scheduling, offer letters, assessments, the mobile recruiter app and the candidate blacklist.
In build for Wave 1: talent pools, the client portal, structured data import, consent and retention tooling, the Chrome extension, interview kits, source-of-hire attribution and Bullhorn migration assistance. Planned: the AI Notetaker, the AI Sourcing Agent and multi-channel sequencing. That list is on the site whether or not it helps a sale.
- Status labels on every feature page, not just the flattering ones
- Plan contents published next to the price rather than in a proposal
- A fourteen-day trial so the product can be checked against the claims
- Provisional pricing labelled as provisional rather than presented as final
Candidate communication and the WhatsApp question
Australian and UK desks both run on messaging, and the conversation usually ends up on a recruiter's personal phone because the CRM never offered anywhere better. That costs a firm twice: once at handover when the history is gone, and again when nobody can reconstruct what was promised to a candidate.
Surhires ships WhatsApp Business API messaging on Professional with templates, opt-in capture and every message written to the candidate activity stream, with WhatsApp basics on Starter. Email cadences and candidate communication are shipping and being extended, nurture sequences are in build, and multi-channel sequencing across email, WhatsApp and SMS in one flow is planned.
SMS sending requires your own carrier registration where local rules demand it. We provide the fields and the sending integration; the registration is yours, and we say so rather than implying that buying software solves a regulatory obligation.
What Surhires does not do
Surhires is not an HRIS, a payroll system, a background-check provider or an assessment platform. There is no pay-and-bill module and none is planned for Wave 1. Placement invoicing raises and tracks the first invoice against a placement rather than running a contractor billing book.
AUD prices on this site are conversions from the USD figures and are flagged as unconfirmed pending a founder decision. They are not an Australian price sheet and should not be treated as one during a procurement process.
SOC 2 is a readiness programme in progress with a Type I report as the first deliverable. No Type II report is claimed until one has been issued, and the trust page carries the current state.
Where JobAdder is the better choice
If you are an Australian agency whose desk runs on Seek and whose team already knows JobAdder, it is a strong and well-established answer. The local integration depth, the support presence in the region and the size of the installed base all matter in ways that are hard to replicate, and a vendor with an established Australian footprint carries less risk for a firm that cannot afford a bad platform decision.
It is also the better choice if your procurement process values a long operating history and local references over published pricing, or if you need capability across a wider back-office surface than recruitment software covers.
Surhires is the better fit for an AU or UK desk that wants to compare a real number before booking a call, that values WhatsApp-native candidate communication and AI matching inside a $49 plan, and that is comfortable buying from an early vendor that publishes what it has not built.

Competitor pricing and packaging compiled from published vendor pricing pages on 27 August 2026 and not re-verified since. Vendors change pricing and packaging without notice — check JobAdder's own site before relying on any figure here. Where a row says pricing is not published, that is because the vendor does not publish it.
Questions recruiters ask
How current is this comparison?
The competitor information on this page was compiled from published vendor pricing pages on 27 August 2026 and has not been re-verified since. JobAdder does not publish pricing, so no figure is stated here. Check JobAdder's own site and ask them directly rather than relying on any third-party number.
What does JobAdder cost?
We do not know and we will not guess. JobAdder does not publish its pricing, which means an evaluation starts with a sales conversation. Ask them for a written quote for your seat count and region, then compare it against the published Surhires figures of $39, $49 and $99 per user per month.
Do you integrate with Seek?
A Seek connector is included in the Professional plan alongside Naukri and CV-Library, and multi-board job posting is shipping and being extended. Integration pages on this site carry an explicit state of live, in development or roadmap, and we do not imply a partnership or logo rights that has not been confirmed.
Are prices available in Australian dollars?
Australian dollar figures are shown as conversions from the USD prices and are flagged as unconfirmed pending a founder decision. The USD ladder of $39, $49 and $99 per user per month is the reference, and all of it is provisional pending buyer validation rather than a locked price sheet.
Does Surhires support Working Rights checks?
The product supports visa-class document capture with expiry reminders against the candidate record, and labour-hire licensing fields by state. The verification itself is a workflow you run. We describe what the product supports rather than claiming a compliance status that belongs to your process, not to our software.
Is an early vendor a risk for a procurement process?
Yes, and you should weigh it. Surhires is a Wave 1 product from Soor LLC, a Delaware-registered company. SOC 2 is a readiness programme in progress rather than a completed audit. If your procurement requires a long operating history and local references, an established vendor is the safer choice.
