Comparison
A price you can total before the contract arrives
Vincere is deep and UK-weighted. The friction for buyers is that the final number depends on which modular packs end up in the quote.
Vincere publishes a core from £69 per user per month with modular add-on packs, and full pricing is quoted. Surhires publishes $39, $49 and $99 per user per month with the CRM, AI matching and WhatsApp inside the plans, so the total is visible before a sales conversation begins.

Modular packs make the total hard to predict
Vincere's compiled pricing starts from £69 per user per month for the core, with modular add-on packs on top and full pricing quoted rather than published. Modularity is a defensible design: a firm that only runs perm does not pay for the contract module, and a firm that does not need analytics does not buy it.
The cost is predictability. A buyer comparing three products cannot line up a core price against two full-stack prices and learn anything useful, because the packs that matter to their desk are exactly the ones not on the page. The evaluation therefore starts with a scoping call, and the real number arrives late in the process.
Surhires publishes three numbers and states what is inside each. Starter at $39 carries the pipeline, job posting, search and tagging, WhatsApp basics and the mobile app, capped at five hundred candidates. Professional at $49 adds AI matching with one hundred credits per user per month, parsing, bulk import, AutoShortlist, duplicate detection, full WhatsApp Business API, LinkedIn Recruiter and placement invoicing. Enterprise at $99 adds AI interview calls, custom prompts, multi-entity, SSO and a $2,000 per month platform fee.
- Vincere: from £69 per user per month for the core, packs priced separately, full pricing quoted
- Surhires: $39, $49 and $99 per user per month, published with contents
- Surhires GBP figures are conversions and are flagged as unconfirmed on the pricing page
- Three-seat minimum, fourteen-day trial, no credit card, no free tier
Perm and contract on the same desk
UK agencies frequently run permanent and contract work side by side, and that is a real requirement rather than a nice-to-have. Vincere has invested in that shape over many years and covers a wide functional surface for it, which is a large part of why UK firms choose it.
Surhires supports both through vertical templates: contingent permanent placement, retained executive search, contract and temp staffing, RPO delivery, in-house corporate talent and the solo headhunter. Each configures stages, fields, dispositions and dashboards at signup. Contract desks get rate rather than salary, availability by week and right-to-work expiry as typed fields with reminders.
What Surhires does not have is pay and bill. Timesheets, contractor payroll and margin reconciliation are not in the product and are not planned for Wave 1. For a contract book of any size that is the line to check first.
UK compliance is described as capability, not as a certificate
The UK market has specific requirements and vendors are often loose about them. Surhires describes what the product supports rather than declaring compliance. Consent capture on candidate records with the basis, channel and date; configurable retention windows; data export and erasure workflows. You remain the controller for the candidate data you hold, and that responsibility does not transfer to a software vendor.
IR35 status flags on contract placements and Right to Work document capture with expiry reminders are part of the UK market configuration. The verification itself is a workflow you run; it is not a certification we hold on your behalf.
Consent and retention tooling is in build for the Wave 1 release rather than shipping today, and it is labelled that way on its feature page. Buying on the strength of a feature in build is a decision you should make with the label in front of you.
Candidate communication in a WhatsApp-first market
UK contract desks in particular run on WhatsApp. Candidates reply to it, recruiters use it whether or not the CRM supports it, and the conversation ends up on a personal phone where it is invisible at handover and unavailable to any audit.
Surhires ships WhatsApp Business API messaging on Professional as a first-class channel, with templates, opt-in capture and every message written to the candidate activity stream. Starter carries WhatsApp basics. Email cadences and candidate communication are shipping and being extended, nurture sequences are in build, and multi-channel sequencing across email, WhatsApp and SMS in one flow is planned rather than live.
The Reply Handler agent reads inbound replies, classifies interest and moves the record or raises a task, which is what keeps volume outreach from becoming an unread inbox.
What Surhires does not do
Surhires is not an HRIS, a payroll system, a background-check provider or an assessment platform. There is no pay-and-bill module, no timesheet engine and no contractor payroll, and none of those are planned for Wave 1. Placement invoicing raises and tracks the first invoice against a placement, which is a narrower thing.
Talent pools, the client portal, structured data import, the Chrome extension, interview kits, source-of-hire attribution and consent and retention tooling are in build. The AI Notetaker and the AI Sourcing Agent are planned. Analytics, placement invoicing, scorecards, duplicate detection and multi-board posting are shipping and being extended.
GBP prices on this site are conversions from the USD figures and are flagged as unconfirmed pending a founder decision. They are not a signed-off UK price sheet and are not presented as one.
Where Vincere is the better choice
For a UK agency running perm and contract together at scale, with an established back office and a need for functional depth across both books, Vincere is a strong and well-proven answer. The breadth it has built over years covers requirements a newer product simply has not met yet, and modular packs let a large firm buy precisely the surface it needs.
It is also the better choice if you need pay and bill or timesheet handling inside the same platform, or if your operations team values a single vendor across the full contract lifecycle more than it values a published price list.
Surhires is the better fit for a UK agency of three to fifty recruiters that wants the candidate relationship layer, AI matching and WhatsApp communication at a price it can total before a sales call, and that keeps pay and bill in a separate system.

Where a row says pricing is not published, that is because the vendor does not publish it.
Questions recruiters ask
How current is this comparison?
Vincere pricing and packaging on this page was compiled from published vendor pricing pages on 27 August 2026 and has not been re-verified since. Vendors change pricing and packaging without notice, so check Vincere's own site before relying on any figure here rather than assuming this page still holds.
What does Vincere actually cost?
The compiled pricing shows a core from £69 per user per month with modular add-on packs, and full pricing quoted rather than published. We will not estimate a total, because the total depends on which packs a given desk needs and we have no basis to guess that for you.
Are Surhires prices available in pounds?
Sterling figures are shown as conversions from the USD prices and are flagged as unconfirmed on the pricing page pending a founder decision. The USD ladder of $39, $49 and $99 per user per month is the reference, and all of it is provisional pending buyer validation.
Does Surhires handle contract and temp desks?
It handles the recruitment side: rate-based records, availability by week, right-to-work expiry, IR35 status flags, per-client stages and placement invoicing through to the first invoice. It does not handle timesheets, contractor payroll or margin reconciliation, and those are not planned for Wave 1.
How does Surhires handle GDPR obligations?
Compliance is a property of how you operate, not a badge a vendor holds. The product supports consent capture on candidate records, configurable retention windows and export and erasure workflows, with the consent tooling in build for Wave 1. You remain the controller for the candidate data you hold.
How hard is it to move from Vincere?
CSV and Excel import with column mapping is included and duplicate detection runs during the import. Structured data import tooling is in build for Wave 1. Attachment history, activity history and modular data that does not map cleanly are what turn a migration into a scoped project rather than an upload.
