Comparison
One plan against a core licence plus the modules you need
Tracker RMS covers back-office ground a pure CRM does not attempt. The comparison is what the working configuration costs once the modules are added.
Tracker RMS publishes $79 Launch and $99 Core per user per month with custom pricing above, and prices automation, back office and job-board modules separately. Surhires publishes $39, $49 and $99 with AI matching, WhatsApp and placement invoicing inside the plans rather than as separate modules.

A core licence plus modules is a different shape of price
Tracker RMS's compiled pricing is $79 Launch and $99 Core per user per month with custom pricing above, and automation, back office and job-board modules priced separately as add-ons. That is a coherent commercial model: a firm that does not need back office does not pay for it.
It does mean the entry figure is not the working figure. A desk that wants automation and job-board posting is buying a core licence plus at least two modules, and the comparison a buyer should run is the assembled configuration against a competitor's plan, not core against plan.
Surhires publishes $39 Starter, $49 Professional and $99 Enterprise per user per month with contents stated. Professional carries AI matching with one hundred credits per user per month, resume parsing, bulk import, AutoShortlist, duplicate detection, full WhatsApp Business API, LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, CV-Library and Seek connectors, and placement invoicing. Enterprise adds AI interview calls, multi-entity, SSO and a $2,000 per month platform fee.
- Tracker RMS: $79 Launch, $99 Core, custom above, with modules priced separately
- Modules noted in the compiled pricing: automation, back office and job boards
- Surhires: $39, $49 and $99 with plan contents published
- Three-seat minimum, fourteen-day trial, no credit card, no free tier
Back office is a genuine gap on our side
Tracker RMS offers back-office capability that Surhires does not attempt. Timesheets, contractor pay and the billing chain that sits behind a temp desk are a different discipline from candidate relationships, and building them badly is worse than not building them.
Surhires stops at the first invoice. Placement invoicing is shipping and being extended: it raises and tracks an invoice against a placement, records the fee basis and the guarantee window, and feeds revenue booked and revenue invoiced into the pipeline dashboard. It is not a timesheet engine, not a payroll system and not a margin reconciliation tool, and none of those are planned for Wave 1.
For a contract book of any size, that is the first thing to check. If pay and bill has to live in the same platform, this comparison ends there and Tracker RMS is the better answer.
Where Surhires puts its effort instead
The candidate relationship layer and the outbound work in front of the placement are where Surhires concentrates. Structure at capture time, so a database of sixty thousand records stays searchable. Explainable AI matching, so a shortlist can be argued with rather than accepted. Duplicate detection at import, so the same person does not exist four times by year three.
Twelve named agents cover the recurring work: job intake from a client brief, sourcing from your own database first, resume screening, match scoring, outreach personalisation, reply handling, interview scheduling, reference collection, placement risk, client health and recruiter coaching. Ten are live. The AI Notetaker and the AI Sourcing Agent are planned.
The Placement Pipeline Command Centre and the Recruiter Performance Dashboard are the two named surfaces: submittals, interviews booked and slipped, offers live with acceptance risk, revenue booked and invoiced, at-risk placements inside the guarantee window, and per-recruiter outreach, reply rate, conversion and source attribution.
- Normalised skills, seniority, location, notice period and salary with currency
- Typed custom fields with required-at-stage rules and field-level permissions
- Layered duplicate detection with confidence-scored merge proposals
- Two named dashboards rather than a report builder nobody configures
Communication that stays on the record
WhatsApp Business API messaging ships on Professional as a first-class channel, with templates, opt-in capture and every message written to the candidate activity stream. WhatsApp basics are on Starter. That is the channel candidates actually answer across the UK, Europe, India, Latin America and the Gulf, and keeping it inside the record is what makes a desk handover survivable.
Email cadences and candidate communication are shipping and being extended. Candidate nurture sequences are in build for Wave 1. Multi-channel sequencing across email, WhatsApp and SMS in a single flow with shared suppression is planned rather than live, and that gap is stated on the feature page as well as here.
Outreach compliance is supported rather than declared: opt-in capture, STOP and unsubscribe handling, suppression lists and a postal address in email footers. US SMS still requires your own 10DLC brand and campaign registration.
What Surhires does not do
No timesheets, no contractor payroll, no margin reconciliation and no pay and bill, none of it planned for Wave 1. No HRIS, no background-check product and no assessment engine; screening, testing and e-signature run through integrations rather than being rebuilt inside the CRM.
Talent pools, the client portal, structured data import, the Chrome extension, interview kits, consent and retention tooling and source-of-hire attribution are in build. Analytics, placement invoicing, candidate scorecards, duplicate detection and multi-board posting are shipping and being extended. Those labels are the same on every page of this site.
SOC 2 is a readiness programme in progress with a Type I report as the first deliverable, and no Type II report is claimed until one has been issued.
Where Tracker RMS is the better choice
If you need recruitment and back office in one platform, Tracker RMS is the better choice and it is not close. A temp desk running weekly timesheets, contractor pay and client invoicing through a single system gets an operational coherence that no pure CRM offers, and stitching two systems together to save a licence fee usually costs more than it saves.
The modular model also suits a firm that wants to buy precisely the surface it uses and grow the configuration over time, rather than paying for capability it has not adopted yet.
Surhires is the better fit for a perm or contingent desk where the back office already lives elsewhere, and where the binding constraint is candidate relationships, matching quality, outbound communication and pipeline visibility rather than billing operations.

Questions recruiters ask
How current is this comparison?
Tracker RMS pricing and packaging on this page was compiled from published vendor pricing pages on 27 August 2026 and has not been re-verified since. Vendors change pricing and packaging without notice, so check Tracker RMS's own site before relying on any figure here rather than treating this page as current.
What do the Tracker RMS modules cost?
We do not know. The compiled pricing shows $79 Launch and $99 Core per user per month with custom pricing above, and notes that automation, back office and job-board modules are priced separately. It does not carry module prices, so ask Tracker RMS for a quote covering the configuration you would actually run.
Does Surhires do timesheets or contractor pay?
No, and neither is planned for Wave 1. Placement invoicing raises and tracks the first invoice against a placement and records the fee basis and guarantee window. Weekly timesheets, contractor payroll and margin reconciliation belong in a back-office system, and Tracker RMS covers ground we do not.
Is automation an extra cost with Surhires?
No. The twelve named agents are part of the plans rather than a separate module: matching and the working agents sit in Professional at $49 per user per month, and AI interview calls and custom prompts sit in Enterprise. Two agents, the notetaker and the sourcing agent, are planned rather than built.
Are job boards a separate charge?
Starter includes one job board connector and posting to LinkedIn and Indeed. Professional includes LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, CV-Library and Seek connectors. Multi-board posting is shipping and being extended, and integration pages carry an explicit state of live, in development or roadmap rather than an implied partnership.
Can we run Surhires alongside a back-office system?
That is the intended shape. Surhires holds candidates, clients, jobs, communication and the placement through to the first invoice, and the back office holds timesheets, pay and billing. Decide deliberately which system is the record of truth for a placement so the two do not disagree.
